Flanders Red // 750ml // 5.0%

Flanders Red is a burgundy-hued sour ale, originating from the West Flanders region of Belgium. The long, mixed secondary fermentation, has given a complex, quite gentle acidity.

The result of a brewing challenge set by Stephen at the Pig & Pickle in Exeter, back in December 2023. Could the PK brewing wizards take on a Flanders Red, inspired by his beer-heroes at Rodenbach?  We’ll give it a crack, we said. Just give us a year or two...

Ingredients: Water, Barley, Wheat,  Hops, Yeast
